Kidman Agency, LLC ("Kidman Agency," "we," "us") is a licensed insurance agency in Michigan. This policy explains what information we collect through kidmaninsurance.com and by phone, text and email, and how we use and share it.

Information we collect
• Information you give us, such as your name, email, phone number, address, date of birth, occupation and employer, marital status, information about drivers and household members, your vehicles and home, your current insurance and coverage, and accident, ticket and claims history.
• Information from others, with your authorization, such as consumer reports (credit-based insurance scores, driving records and claims history) from the insurance companies we represent and consumer reporting agencies. If you choose to use Canopy Connect, we also receive your current policy details from your insurance company.
• Information collected automatically when you visit our website, such as your IP address, the pages you visit, the page that referred you, browser and device information, and cookie identifiers.

How we use it
• To prepare quotes, help you apply for and service your insurance, and answer your questions.
• To contact you by phone, text and email as you have authorized, including with updated quotes in the future.
• To measure and improve our website and our advertising.
• To comply with the law and protect against fraud.

How we share it
We do not sell your personal information for money. We share it only as described here:
• With the insurance companies we represent, to quote, issue and service your policies.
• With consumer reporting agencies, to obtain the reports described above.
• With service providers that work for us, including Ontraport (our website, forms and customer records), Alive5 (text messaging), Canopy Connect (if you choose to use it) and our phone, email and technology providers. They may use your information only to provide services to us.
• For advertising. We use the Meta (Facebook) pixel on certain advertising pages. When you request a quote, we also let Meta know that a quote request was received, which may include an encoded (hashed) version of your email address or phone number, so we can measure our ads. These companies may combine this information with other information they have, under their own privacy policies.
• When required by law, to protect our rights, or with your consent.

Text messaging
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help.

Your choices
• Calls, texts and email: reply STOP to any text, use the unsubscribe link in any email, or call us at (734) 429-2707.
• Cookies and advertising: you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings and adjust your ad settings with Meta.
• Access, correction and deletion: contact us to ask what information we have about you, or to have it corrected or deleted. Some information must be kept to meet insurance and legal requirements.

How we protect information
We use physical, electronic and procedural safeguards and limit access to the people who need it to serve you. No system is completely secure.

Children
Our website is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect information online from children under 13. Information about younger household members or drivers is collected only from a parent or guardian as part of a quote.

Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
